Welcome Friends

The Women’s Center of Northwest Indiana receives calls and visits everyday from women and men experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Our goal is to provide them with the best possible care, while sharing with them accurate information about the life they are carrying. We want to help them make an informed decision about their body, their unborn child and their future.  We want to offer help and hope while sharing the love of Christ in both word and deed.

The Women’s Center of Northwest Indiana, Inc. opened it doors under the name Lake County Women’s Center in September of 1989. Since it’s opening, TWC has served over 25,000 clients and helped thousands chose life for their children.

Providing Alternatives to Abortion

The Women’s Center of Northwest Indiana sees that abortion is often the result of a lack of finances, education and non-supportive relationships. The WC offers practical and compassionate help to remove these obstacles that cause women to choose abortion. We want to provide the opportunity for every woman to make life affirming choices for herself and her unborn children.
For women who choose to parent, The Women’s Center provides pregnancy support through parenting classes, referrals and a learn and earn program. We also provide information on adoption for clients who want to carry their child and not ready to parent.
